Sculpture

I’ve been sculpting for most of my life. I typically work by joining metal parts through dozens of layers of binding wire, rather than creating hard joints through welding. This allows everything to be posed in different positions, and encourages interaction with an audience. I have a background in wiring and programming custom electronics, so some of my work involves motors and lights. Feel free to inquire about pricing, although I’m currently trying to build up a large collection for gallery showing. I can be contracted for custom works.

A focus for me is recycled post-apocalyptic armor, weapons, and idols made of scrap materials. Wearable and wield-able devices with spikes, lasers, and other elements of a very heavy metal future where everything is recycled for war. If I walk on the road I pick up whatever random metal junk I find.

I’ve worked extensively in metal, plastic, soapstone, wax, wood, resin, cloth, bone, oil clay, and ceramic.
